Timothy Jones is the Deputy Principal of the Royal Academy of Music, where he holds a University of London chair. Better known as a Mozart scholar than as a composer, his multiple completions of Mozart’s late fragments have been performed, recorded and broadcast to critical acclaim all over the world.
He studied composition formally as a child and has continued to do so informally as an adult by paying close attention to the work of his excellent friends and colleagues at the Academy and in today’s wider contemporary music scene.
