Michael joins a roster of some of the world’s most promising young soloists and ensembles on BBC Radio 3's prestigious talent development scheme, which supports musicians at the beginning of their careers with performance opportunities in London and around the UK. He will be only the second collaborative pianist welcomed on the scheme in its history.
A former young artist at the Bayerische Staatsoper, Michael has become increasingly sought-after as a performer and vocal coach across Europe since graduating from the Academy. He has been awarded several prestigious prizes including the Pianist Prize at the Wigmore Hall International Song Competition, and has appeared on the performance stage alongside many acclaimed artists such as Graham Johnson, Željko Lučić, Freddie De Tommaso and Harriet Burns.
