Following a Bicentenary room-naming competition for students, the Academy's practise room 204 has now officially been renamed the Mary Teresa O’Sullivan Room. The winner of the competition, Francesca Pringle, suggested naming the room after Mary because she is such an important colleague and friend to staff and students alike. Mary’s 24 years of service, her exceptional commitment to the wellbeing of our community and the vital role she plays in the Academy family made her an ideal dedicatee.
Staff and students across the Academy celebrated the renaming of the room at an event on Monday 24 October, along with Mary, her family, and our Principal Jonathan Freeman-Attwood (pictured above).
