Last month, Master's students Catriona Mackenzie and Daniel Silcock were joint winners of the Edith Poulsen Accompanist's Prize at the annual North London Festival of Music, Speech and Drama.

Earlier this month, Chunmeng Ge was awarded the Pianist Prize at the Somerset Song Prize, adjudicated by Roger Vignoles, Benjamin Hulett and Academy alum Claire Barnett-Jones. Chunmeng performed with current Vocal Studies Department student, Aksel Rykkvin, who was awarded the Most Promising Young Singer award.

At the Internationaal Lied Festival Zeist in the Netherlands last week, recent Ensemble Piano graduate Mark Rogers won the Young Artist Platform Prize. Mark performed alongside Academy Vocal Studies alum Florian Störtz.
