Ellinor Bengtson, who is in her third year of undergraduate study in the Academy's Brass Department, will take up the role of P2's Classical Artist this autumn. The position is appointed in a collaboration between Swedish Radio's concert hall Berwaldhallen and the Swedish radio channel P2, with the aim of highlighting young and promising Swedish instrumentalists and singers.

In this role, Ellinor will have the opportunity to perform in a number of concerts in Berwaldhallen with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, which will be broadcast across the country on P2. This will include taking the solo role in Alexander Arutiunian's Trumpet Concerto, which she will perform with conductor Eva Ollikainen in the spring of 2026.

Before starting at the Academy, Ellinor won the Morgan Music Prize in 2022, and has performed with the the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and the Benny Andersson Orchestra.
