Throughout his early teenage years, he performed Children’s Chorus roles with opera companies such as English National Opera, Glyndebourne, and the Royal Opera House, before becoming Head Boy at Bromley Youth Musical Theatre in South London. There, he performed roles including Bernstein in Dogfight and Narrator in Into The Woods, as well as undertaking creative positions as a Director, Musical Director and Producer for student shows.
In 2017 he was Assistant Director on Noel Coward’s Relative Values at the Theatre Royal Windsor, and since 2022 he has been the Musical Director for Sing-along-a-Musical (Brighton Fringe and Ironworks). Most recently he was Musical Director and emergency cover for Fairy for Tinderella: Two Big Balls, One Happy Ending! at the Union Theatre, London and on tour.
After exploring various creative paths over the last few years, Alex is excited to return to his roots as a performer and is beyond thrilled to be at the Academy.
