Michael Posner

He became a member of the Peterborough String Orchestra and since then works as a freelancer in London, playing with all the major chamber orchestras. He is a member of the London Mozart Players and over the years, has worked regularly with the City of London Sinfonia, the English Chamber Orchestra and the Academy of St. Martins.

As a teacher, Michael is busy, both in several schools and privately. He worked for many years at Trinity College of Music Junior Department and for two years, he was a full time teacher for BYMT.

Michael was a course director at IAPS and for many years has run the Summer Strings chamber courses. He is a regular coach on the Arpeggioni viola course where, as well as working with small groups, he conducts the 'orchestra'.
