Viktor Bijelovic went to the Purcell School of Music, before attending the Royal Academy of Music for his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees.
He has studied with a number of amazing teachers, including Patsy Toh, Colin Stone, Nicholas Walker, Michael Dussek, Nikolai Petrov, Irina Plotnikova, Arbo Valdma, Dusan Trbojevic and many other renowned and inspiring professors.
He has since been busy performing as a solo pianist as well as a chamber musician and also teaching at some of the country’s most prestigious schools in London and Oxford.
Winner of several prestigious international competitions, he has published several CDs and performed in many renowned venues, including Sadler’s Wells with The Pina Bausch Wuppertal Tanztheater, The Salle Gaveau Concert Hall in Paris and The Kolarac Concert Hall in Belgrade. He has also performed for HRH Prince Charles on two occasions.
Viktor divides his time between teaching and performing and is a keen proponent of education and, particularly, of the benefits musical education has for all learners. Moreover, the ability of music to help those in the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s and Dementia is well documented and something that Viktor has much experience with, having played numerous concerts for that cause. It is the power that music has to transport each and every one of us to a more beautiful place, at just a moment’s notice, that truly drives Viktor’s love of both performing and teaching.
