Performance and rehearsal spaces, recording studios, teaching and practice rooms — these are the spaces where sparks begin to fly
Music’s future starts here – a place that brings together the traditions of the past and the world-class technology that musicians need in an increasingly digital world. We need your support to:
- invest in new large-scale rehearsal and teaching facilities
- reimagine our Library for the needs of students today
- tell the extraordinary story of our instruments and special collections and unlock their full potential for teaching and research
In 2018, we opened the Susie Sainsbury Theatre and Angela Burgess Recital Hall, following one of the most ambitious building projects in the Academy’s history. But we can’t afford to stand still. Now is the time to invest in more facilities fit for the future and our ambitions.
‘This building has been absolutely at the centre of everything that I have done, everything that I have learnt.’
Sir Simon Rattle
