Attempts to Replace Her is a project by Elizabeth Huskisson and Xiaowen Shang, reinterpreting classical music and theatrical text to explore female identity through the male gaze, creating a continuous cycle that redefines gendered portrayals through piano, monologue, and movement.
About the Students Create Festival 2025
This year’s incredible line up of student-led projects includes Jazz-Baroque fusion, a fully staged new opera, Beckett with Berio, and a Techno night.
