Susanna Mälkki is sought-after at the highest level with symphony orchestras and at opera houses worldwide. By invitation of Boulez, Mälkki was Music Director of the Ensemble intercontemporain from 2006 to 2013.
Experience a riot of colour as she leads Academy alumni alongside current and Juilliard students in a programme of fiercely ambitious, wondrously precise music. The concert concludes with the seldom heard Sur Incises, one of Boulez’s most distinctive works.
