Juno’s Ballads explores the psychological intrigue for melancholy, sentimentality and storytelling through ballads and folk songs.
We journey through a mental decline and ascension, featuring original arrangements and compositions for classical and electric guitar, violin, electronics and classical and musical theatre voice.
About the Students Create Festival 2025
Academy students take over performance venues from lunchtime into the evening for three days of artistic risk taking. This year’s programme includes jazz-Baroque fusion, a fully staged new opera, a concert of music by Berio using text by Beckett, a techno night and 13 events featuring world premieres by students.
