The Academy has a longstanding connection to Tokyo University of the Arts. Here, Geikō (the Music High School attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts) presents a programme of Western Classical and Japanese traditional music. This full-time vocational school is the only music high school in Japan which provides professional music education in both traditional Japanese and Western Classical instruments.
