A prize-winning ensemble presents one of the greatest piano trios ever written.
A masterpiece rich in motifs and thematic material, this work was completed by Schubert in the last half year of his life and dedicated ‘to nobody, save those who find pleasure in it’. The second movement has been used in many films, including Stanley Kubrick’s Barry Lyndon.
